Oh, goodness. Nothing scared OR excited me more than this part of the interview process. The audition is what comes after you have your interview, and if you make it this far it means you've got a good chance at becoming an infamous Hooters Girl. The audition is where you try on the uniform, and that's when they decide if you're hired or not.
After my interview, I was scheduled to come try on the uniform the next day. GM (we'll use GM for the general manager) told me after my interview to bring white socks and shoes, and with me being a dummy I went out and bought white shoes for the audition for $9 on sale at Walmart. Wow, I felt SO DAMN AWKWARD walking around through the store with a shoebox! At least I come prepared though, right? ;)
But anyway, I went in to the audition with shoebox in hand, ready to try on the infamous Hooters Girl orange shorts and tight white tank top. I was already feeling bloated, and man did that tank top make me feel worse! The girl fitting me was super nice, and I felt extremely comfortable talking to her. We were laughing the whole time she was measuring me for the uniform, and I asked her a bunch of questions about working here and what kind of bras to buy (make sure you have a nude bra that DOES NOT HAVE WIDE SIDES! It will show on the side of your tank top and that's not okay to work in!). I ended up being an xs in the top and shorts, but I think I needed the small because of how tall I am and because I have big boobs. I am 5'8, wear a 34DD, and am about 148 lbs. Oh well, I guess this is more motivation to start running again!
I put on the uniform, the girl helping me showed me all the tricks to avoiding muffin tops and side boob, and all the other good stuff. Then, I had to walk onto the floor and show GM - he took my picture, and told me I was hired! YAY!!!
If anyone wanted to know what to wear to the audition, I'd say wear something comfortable but cute. You're only there to try on the uniform, so you don't really need to go all-out with a complicated outfit. I wore nice skinny jeans that showed off my figure, and a grey Nike 1/4 zip up with purple converse (though I almost regret the shoes).
Let me know if anyone has any questions! I'm a new blogger, but would love to talk and answer anything to the best of my abilities :)

Applying to be a Hooters Girl: The Interview
So I had my interview, and it was (shockingly, I know) just like any other job interview you'll have. I got there about 20 minutes early because I accidentally left WAY too early trying to avoid traffic, so I just sat in the parking lot for a while trying to think of any and all questions I might be asked. Honestly, it went nothing like I thought it would.
Originally when I went in to ask for an application, they told me that they only take online applications now - so that was a (semi) wasted 30 minute trip. I went home and filled out the online application, where you put in basic info and attach a picture of yourself. They gave me a call the next day, and we scheduled my interview for three days from then. I was so excited and SO nervous! How should I do my hair and makeup? What is someone supposed to wear to a hooters interview?! I opted for perfectly natural and bright-eyed flawless makeup, but choosing the right outfit was the hard part. Honestly, I think after reading so many blogs about what to wear to a hooters interview is what threw me off so much. I settled for a slightly low cut nice tank top, a burgundy cardigan, and black stretchy pants with pockets. I wanna say they're leggings/jeggings (wow I hate that word), but they were more like stretchy black skinny dress pants. But yeah, all that with some nice Vera Wang booties. It is October after all, and I wanted to dress trendy according to the season.
The interview itself was super short - I waited to speak with the manager longer than the interview lasted! Which, let's be honest here, was quite a relief. I was asked only a small handful of questions; why Hooters? What is your availability? What does safely serving alcohol mean to you? I think part of the reason why it was so short was because I had pretty decent answers, he said I already answered most of the questions before he had a chance to even ask them haha. In all, the interview couldn't have lasted more than 10 minutes. It was laid back, comfortable, and just gave me another reason to want to work there!
